Historic "climate change" in the arctic approaching, is on the move.

Yes- you heard that right- a "climate change" event is taking place around the North Pole as we speak. Supposedly, a new set of weather patterns taking place in the arctic are calling for temperatures to soar above freezing. Wait- there's more! The temperatures in the arctic will soar a full fifty degrees Fahrenheit- above average. You know what?... This reminds me of something... an event that happened here in the United States in recent times, at least a couple of years or so back in time. What happened was that there was a radical change on the way during the winter. And this change of weather pattern was initially affecting only the far eastern reaches of Russia, in Siberia. And, on the contrary, there were still record breaking lows in temperature that winter, and these extended as far down south as the gulf states! So, what exactly caused these weird climatic anomalies? Well, in the first place, this was initially a single weather pattern, that would eventually turn into a dual weather system! This may sound pretty strange, and I will explain how this came about. The first, initial weather pattern that prevailed was that of an unusually strong warm front, that would venture its way through Siberia. This is not what we consider a "heat wave", because those are associated mostly with the warmer months. However, as for the time of year- late December- during which time all of this started- this would still be considered by many as a heat wave. Just not in the same sense that it feels like spring, per say.----As a result, the polar vortex, which, as it's name suggests, originates in the Arctic regions of Earth, responded to this change in climate. So, as the incredibly persistent warm front just keeps pushing, trying to make it's way further and further towards the arctic, at the same time, the polar vortex is being forced out of its place. This change in weather patterns is especially noticeable later on, in North America -especially parts of the lower forty eight, particularly in states such as New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Michigan, Ohio, as well as several other states; although this change was not noticeable for some time. But why?...
Well, first of all, the polar vortex will not have immediate effects on the American climate here in the United States. This is because the polar vortex takes time to travel all of the way down across Canada and make it's incredible journey into the lower forty eight. As a result, the cold spells that invaded the United States did not come until some time in January. And because of the extended duration of time that the vortex stayed in place over the United States, that would eventually bring about ever more frigid temperatures...
...throughout that same winter, temperatures in the United States would plummet down, even as much as fifty degrees below average. This was probably no more noticeable in any other state as much as it was in Minnesota. This is where the temperature even got down to several degrees of subzero. As a matter of fact, on the border between Canada and the United States, a record reading of negative forty degrees Fahrenheit was measured!
Please explain this to me in the Celcius Language. Can you do that?
Why, yes. I was talking in terms of Fahrenheit. I'm so sorry if that is not what you would like to hear. What I was telling them is just the fact that there is a temperature difference of approximately thirty degrees Celcius or so. And to be exact, imagine such a scenario; in this scenario it is forty degrees Celcius outside. That is a scorcher for most all of us! Well, actually, let's just suppose that this is your average temperature for the time being. Now, in order to find out what a temperature change has occurred, then your result comes out as...  ten degrees C. Wowwww, Huh?!
That is as though we were stuck out in a place like say, Arizona during the summer. Let's say we are in Vegas. Or the Sahara; although it is "only" about a hundred degrees; that will be our starting point. The next thing you know, it is only fifty degrees outside! And then again, is this a fair comparison?

...Talk about El Nino!

Our weather "Madness". "Proceed with caution."

I've written a little about our recently about our weather madness. Or what I simply think of as craziness, although I'm just thinking this way because I like exaggeration in my thoughts. So, I've decided to write a little bit today about more of our recent weather. And that's because weather is just something- one of the subject-that I like to ponder about. Even though it's one of those subjects that, get's quite boring, empty, and lifeless throughout some times o the year... Yet weather, as well as news in general, is generally something interesting that happens, and that we follow, quite often, and worldwide! However, this is still about something that has happened to occur, not just "over there", somewhere, but here in America. We're still on the subject of weather. Still as recently as yesterday, there was a major weather event that had occurred over the US... In the "lifeless" month of December, we had an extreme weather event that could best be described as anomalous. It was a severe outbreak of weather, which even brought with it a big potential for tornadoes. This included several areas. The area that had experienced the highest probability of tornadoes (not necessarily the most) was Tennessee, with a Tornado condition index as high as an eight! How is this not anomalous for the start of winter... when it is so the freaking mundane outside? At least that's how i've felt once I peered out the windows. twenty third
If you've wondering what our current phase cycle of weather is, then all of the weather patterns that are currently happening, is/all are one type of s what's known in the meteorological terms, as simply, an El Nino. And anyways so this type of climatic pattern is associated more often than not, with a reduced amount of severe weather outbreaks here in the central United States. Once this pattern persists, however, things are still really difficult to foretell. The spring, as well as summer, may likely be dominated by the effects of this phenomenon, even though the El Nino may be gone by then.  And the future is still uncertain. We are still likely to experience a spring of 2016 as rather dry perhaps. Although if we think about what it's going to be like, it can be cool for the spring, however, it may be getting very warm right around the start of May. The summer is likely to be rather quite hot for much of the season. And, at the same time, it will likely also be rather dry.
I'm just saying this, because this is what i've observed myself in the past when it comes to the El Nino cycle. So this is more or less what I would expect coming ahead into these next times.
Yes, comically enough, when we're stating these kinds of facts, there is generally no sense of warning. No Fear. The Earth systems are just doing their things. Or are they? Some will argue that the Earth is flat, while still others might argue that the Earth has plans of its own. Plans which we need to be cautious about.

Here is an interesting view of the winter solstice from England:

https://vimeo.com/149564638
I will begin by saying that I'm astounded by how this looks. The misty cloudscape moving so quickly across the hilly, rolling landscape.

A short month... literally! December 2015: Summarized!

I had some trouble in structuring this post. I didn't get to organize it exactly as I wanted to.
It's official. The sun has reached a declination of about -23.70 degrees, on the 22nd of December, 2015. *I think it maybe -23.07 degrees.* The fall season has now come to an end. The winter is already starting. Last night, the 22nd, I had checked on our local forecast. I was just trying to figure out just how short our daylight was during this day. Well then, what else is interesting this past month? Keep reading, towards the bottom I will explain another, very perplexing, aspect, to the winter solstice. (cont. later)
So as winter starts here, spring has officially ended in the southern hemisphere, and there is still something else peculiar happening. Something which we can notice, as long as we stay here on the northern hemisphere. We're just assuming that's where we live on for now on. It's the moon. While the sun moves about 23 degrees south of the equator, the moon does something equally impressive. This time, it's very mysterious, because of just that- it involves the moon, which, you wouldn't expect to move like the sun across the sky. Yet it does the exact opposite. That's right. It's maximum inclination happens around the 22nd of December, during which the moon is inclined by about... 23 degrees! How is it possible? Well, that's just one of the several strange aspects that are documented concerning the moon. After all, without the moon, it is thought that the Earth may not be as "tiltable" as it is currently. In other words, it wouldn't be as predictable in terms of climate to be able to sustain life as well as it does now. I never knew, however, that the Moon appears much lower in the summer as opposed to how high it appears in the winter! I first noticed this phenomema in my backyard, in the night, as I was wondering why the moon appeared so much higher in the sky than when it did back when I had observed it last time in the summer. Astonishingly, although this is what we observe here, it is much more "interesting" in other parts of the world. And this would concern both the moon and the sun. For example, right now, the sun travels in circles around the Antarctic circle. And here in the northern hemisphere, the sun is totally "blacked out" in much of the northern hemisphere. And in Antarctic circle, as opposed to the arctic circle, the moon is now literally invisible, or nonexistent. And we can also notice that same phenomenon in the northern hemisphere during the summer, if we're in the right place at the right time, even though we can't always be sure that the moon's visible in the first place. So, again, the moon and sun do the exact OPPOSITE of one another. When one is visible all day in the arctic during June, the moon can sometimes be visible all night in the southern hemisphere. And, accordingly, this phenomenon with the moon repeats itself in the arctic in December. ( It travels in circles). The circle is what comes to my mind when I think about the seasons here on Earth. The whole entire year is, in fact, a circle. At least that's how I think of it.
Lastly of all, I would like to say that it was nice to see it was so warm this recently. Well above 60 degrees very recently in some areas of the Northeastern United States. I even checked a global heat map, as weather, as climate, is something I've really gotten to study on some spare time. The time I checked this temperature was about one or two weeks ago, at night, at about ten o'clock or so. The highest reading I noticed nearby around the Great Lakes area, was that in Ontario, Canada. I'm not sure whether this was London or . Anyway, the temperature, according to the heat map, indicated a high of seventy degrees! Anyway, I suppose that's not too surprising. It was in the sixties in many, many places around the northeastern US this week. Or, at least, the temperatures were exceptionally high near the US east coast today, with highs ranging from sixty, to even seventy degrees Fahrenheit! Right here where I am at, the temperature is so mild today. You can even see it on the picture embedded at the top! This is the forecast for Ingham County, MI. I'm not sure about how cold it was during this time of year before, although I can tell you it sure was frigid in recent years. In the last two years in particular, the temperatures were starting to plummet subzero in many areas of MI, at right around this same time of year. And it was more or less the same in many other areas of the US.

The seasons come and go as if they were part of some circle. A circle, just as though the planets travel around our sun in circles. I will be posting another post about these topics in the near future. So stay tuned to any further posts. Oh yeah, and here's another link, which also shows the massive eruption, which also SHOWED UP ON RADAR!, AND satellite images! http://www.wired.com/2015/12/italys-etna-unleashes-a-short-but-spectacular-eruption/?mbid=social_fb
I tell you what, from the looks of it, this is a truly ENORMOUS eruption, however... the flip side is that it was a short lived eruption. Also, on "another note", you may want to go ahead and check out the other volcano that has just erupted very recently,-yes, you heard that right- Another ENORMOUS ERUPTION, this time in broad daylight, and this Nicaraguan volcano was captured on film http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/nicaragua-momotombo-volcano-photos_565f5190e4b08e945fedc989

South Africa sees HUGE surge of heat

As October was closing on an end, a new world record was being set for the world's highest temperature in October! The location happened to be in South Africa. And, also, October happens to be the time of year in the southern hemisphere which is still experiencing spring. Meanwhile, summer is still quite a while away, with the start of summer not coming until the winter begins in the Northern hemisphere. Perhaps, South Africa- they've got a whole lot of more hot conditions waiting ahead for them. That's when the warmer months come rolling in full blast. If 119 degrees isn't hot enough for some people... then imagine having to wait nearly two months until the high temperatures might finally come to an end.More Info

News of the month Oct 2015

  • A rare cyclone brings a years worth of rain within two days to Yemen. In fact, the animation shows just how much rain that exactly is.
  • Hurricane Patricia, strongest pacific cyclone on record, makes Mexican landfall. This cyclone was rather unusual, because with 24 hours it's winds were able to dramatically increase, as well as decrease, making it go from CAT 5 all the way down to a tropical storm and when it was still gaining strength, from 85 mph, all of the way up to about 200 mph. An extremely low pressure was also recorded. This storm can be considered arguably the most extreme hurricane to date.
  • russian-plane-crash-metrojet-bomb Large aircraft falls from the sky in Egypt. The cause of the crash is currently uncertain; however, some experts conclude this crash was most likely have been caused by an internal explosion.

Recounting the unexplained phenomenon that I've encountered in my room-

I'd like to return to the story of what took place in my room one day. I've posted about this before, & I had even thought of a possible explanation, in which I said that what could really be causing the phenomenon would be an earthquake. Since then, however, I have determined that an earthquake could not of possibly done something like this. In fact, not even human activity could have caused it. It's about as strange as anything that occurs in real life. I wonder, however, why are such events like the one that I've told about, so rare in occurrence? If there is a meaning behind the event, then what would that meaning be? So, anyway, if you are wondering what I'm talking about, then I have great news. -First of all, though, I thought that on my first post I just might not have given enough information about what I was trying to describe (the phenomenon). So, in order to make the story more complete & give more description, I rewrote the whole thing. The reason I have wanted to write about this is because since this really happened, I have always been seeking answers for it. Could there be a natural explanation? I'm definitely not ruling this out. And, of course, I am also not ruling out that something can be explained by the term "paranormal". So, I think that, going through life, it's very important to stay open minded about the world. I personally think that even if there is a natural explanation for what I'm really trying to describe, then that kind of an explanation would likely be truly exotic. After all, all of this is truly strange to begin with. I mean, how does the universe work, when a bead necklace that I had hanging from a closet door knob just shake to a mysterious rhythm, literally in the middle of the night, at five minute intervals!?
You can view the new, revised story at the blog website listed: Can you please help me explain this?

Important news stories of September 2015 (updated every other day or so)

Let's look back at some of the most interesting news stories of the month. These are written down to document what is happening in the world in general. The reason is so you can analyze these events. Perhaps you will notice something about them, maybe they seem to correlate with one other, maybe there is a trend, or pattern, occurring among specific stories. So far, these are the events which I've found most interesting, and I hope you will as well. Sometime down the road, in the future, we might want to look at these dates in history. That is when we might tell ourselves that this is quite neat, as these blog posts are like a

Sorry for the delay. What've I been up to?

Hey there,
I don't think I posted anything this month. I understand if you're frustrated. However, I was gone almost all this month on some trips. I just got back from my last trip, during which I explored my home state of Michigan. Particularly, I explored lower Michigan (the northwest regions) as well as the eastern Upper Peninsula. During this trip, the weather was grand, literally. Well, except for two or three overcast days. The northern regions of Michigan, especially the upper peninsula, most resemble other states such as Colorado & New York, except without such mountainous terrain.Believe it or not, it felt much colder on The upper peninsula's south coast versus the north coast. The number of people brave enough to take a dip in Lake Superior were an extremely small amount of people. The water was about 45-50 degrees. Believe it or not... prior to this trip, I had gotten a very brief chance to take a dip into an even colder body of water, that being the mighty, grand, Colorado River. And the place where this river was even colder than Lake Superior was, surprisingly, in Arizona! Specifically, right near Lake Powell, a really deep lake (at least 350 feet at it's deepest. More about that trip...
As a weather watcher, I noticed some amazing clouds there in Arizona. They seemed to be stationary for, at the very least, 4 hours. And the storms in Arizona had some serious thunder power to them.
Liftoff
Let's get back to the beginning, so to say. Here's the cool part: I lifted off towards Arizona at about 10:45 pm... had a window seat... on July 4, 2015... under cloudless skies. Think about that for a moment. They had large fireworks going off in numerous towns for the whole flight, which lasted four hours. The best part of the flight though, was near arrival. It was still nighttime. First I noticed the moon. It was reflecting off of some spectacular, wispy, scattered lenticular clouds. And far off in the distance the moonlight reflected off of two major lakes- one of them was giant. I think one of them was either lake Mead or Powell. The other one (the larger one) was at least 50 or so miles away by the horizon. I'm almost sure that it was Salt Lake. As I descended down towards Las Vegas, it was at least as late as midnight, with many large fireworks exploding above the city.
I didn't have much access to wifi at all, so I don't know what "newsworthy" events happened while I've been gone.

What this blog will be about

This blog will will include noteworthy world events each week starting 2015. I may also write about what news events may happen in the future. This blog will go well with my journal. A journal usually documents past events, or perhaps can be used as an archive. Instead, I will make a journal ahead of time. The journal is written first, in order to describe what happens every other day of the future in significant detail- I will follow the journal approx. one year AFTER I have it published. I don't know if I want to have the journal begin or end. For example, if I decide to plan what happens a year in advance, I may write down a plan that will include everyday up until March 3, 2016. Or, I may write what happens starting on March 3, 2016 and tomorrow I would write what happens on 4/4/16. So, I have three options about how to write this journal. In the future, I will open my journal, and be surprised to find out that it describes what has happened each day.
