Keeping track of world events, news stories, and interesting articles each day. I will analyze them and if something interesting comes of it, I will discuss it in a new blog. For example, this week brought with it several interesting weather events. These may indicate something about our climate or changing weather systems. South Africa sees HUGE surge of heat
As October was closing on an end, a new world record was being set for the world's highest temperature in October! The location happened to be in South Africa. And, also, October happens to be the time of year in the southern hemisphere which is still experiencing spring. Meanwhile, summer is still quite a while away, with the start of summer not coming until the winter begins in the Northern hemisphere. Perhaps, South Africa- they've got a whole lot of more hot conditions waiting ahead for them. That's when the warmer months come rolling in full blast. If 119 degrees isn't hot enough for some people... then imagine having to wait nearly two months until the high temperatures might finally come to an end.More Info
